The Norwell Public Library hosts events throughout the year for teens. Learn more about our year-round activities and specific special events coming soon below. Please check our Events Calendar to be sure a program is offered on a particular day.

⚔️May Dungeon and Dragons One-Shot Series!⚔️

Information:

  • Sessions last from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Although they may last until 6 p.m. if players are willing)

  • Beginner friendly: No commitment, no need to bring anything

  • Premade characters available (Change flavor as much as you want!)

  • You can come in with your own character, but it must be finished (Flavor allowed but no homebrew mechanics)

Teen Advisory Board

Thursday May 9th, 3 to 4pm

Calling all Teens!! Join the Norwell Public Library TAG (Teen Advisory Group) and receive teen volunteer hours. During TAG meetings, there will be further discussing teen programming, the teen room space, and more. Registration is strongly suggested, Pizza and Switch Video Games will be provided to those who register! 

This will be our last meeting before the summer time. TAG will start back up in September! 

Let’s Make Cake Pops

Wednesday May 15, 3 to 4pm

Join the YA Librarian in making cake-pops! Each individual in attendance will shown how to make a cake-pop. If you have an allergy please inform Brooke the YA Librarian of said allergy by reaching out at bvitagliano@norwell.ocln.org or stop by the Adult and Teen Services desk.

Swifty Friendship Bracelets

Wednesday May 22, 3 to 4pm

Want to make friendship bracelets? Join us May 22nd in creating your very own! Plenty of various bead colors will be available to choose from.  Though the title is inspired by Taylor Swift and her fan's bracelet creations, anyone is welcome to join and participate. 

This program is for those in 6th to 12th grade.

Video Games Club

Tuesday May 28th, 3 to 4:30pm

Calling all teen gamers! Join us for the Video Games Club here at Norwell Public Library. Every month we will select from a group of switch games to play together ranging from Mariokart to Cuphead. If there's a special game you wish to see on the list be sure to tell Brooke the Teen Librarian. Must be rated E, E10+ or T to be accepted. This program is for grades 6th to 12th. Snacks will be provided to those in attendance!
